Who is responsible

Wolvix Player is operated by wolvix.tv, Kalverstraat 11, 1011 XC Amsterdam, Netherlands. For any question about your data, or to exercise any right below, email support at wolvix dot tv.

What the app sends us

Only when you activate a licence, start a trial, or the app re-checks your licence:

Data Why
A device fingerprint - an irreversible SHA-256 hash of your operating system name and your disk serial number To count how many devices a licence is used on, and to make sure a free trial is used once per machine. It is a one-way hash; we cannot recover your disk serial from it.
Computer name, operating system, app version So you can tell your own devices apart when deactivating one, and so we can support the versions people actually run.
Your licence key To check it is valid. In our diagnostic logs it is stored only in a shortened form, never in full.
IP address Recorded with licence and trial requests to limit abuse.

What the app never sends

Wolvix Player connects directly to whichever service you configure. We are not in the middle of that connection and have no visibility of it.

If you buy a licence

We never see your card details. Payment is handled entirely by our payment providers; card numbers are never sent to, processed by, or stored on our servers. We receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded, and a reference for it.

The website

Email

Licence and support emails are delivered through SMTP2GO. We keep a record of the recipient, subject and time of each message, and whether it was delivered - never the contents. That record is what lets us answer "I paid and never received my key".

How long we keep it

Who else sees it

Only the services needed to run this: our payment providers, SMTP2GO for email, Cloudflare for abuse protection, StatCounter for visitor statistics, and our hosting provider. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK you may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or complain to your national data protection authority. Email support at wolvix dot tv and we will respond within 30 days.

One honest limitation: deleting your data removes your licence too, and a device fingerprint linked to an expired trial is kept so the trial cannot simply be restarted. We will explain exactly what that means for you before acting on any deletion request.

Changes

If this policy changes we update the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing customers will be sent by email.
